The inventory feed format
One CSV file describes your whole inventory. Make it in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets and export as CSV. Upload it from your dashboard, or host it at a URL and we'll check it every hour.
The header row
sku,title,artist,year,medium,dimensions,description,price,shipping,image_url_1,image_url_2,image_url_3,image_url_4,image_url_5,status
The columns
- sku required
- Your unique code for the piece. Never reuse a SKU — it is how we match updates to the right work.
- title required
- The title of the work, without quotes.
- artist required
- Artist's full name.
- year
- Year created, e.g. 1998.
- medium
- e.g. Oil on canvas, Bronze, Watercolor.
- dimensions
- Width × height (× depth) in inches, e.g. 36 × 24 in. Used for "will it fit over my sofa" answers — include it.
- description
- Your own notes. Optional — we write a collector-grade description automatically either way.
- price required
- In US dollars, numbers only: 4500 or 4500.00. No $ needed.
- shipping
- Your shipping charge in USD. Empty = your dashboard default.
- image_url_1 required
- A public https link to a photo. Up to 5 images via image_url_2 … image_url_5. We copy them to our fast image servers automatically.
- status
- available or sold. Empty means available. To mark a piece sold you can also simply remove its row — but only an explicit "available" brings a sold piece back.
The rules, in plain English
- Each row is one one-of-a-kind work. No quantities, no variants.
- We update your listings by SKU every hour. Changed prices and photos flow through automatically.
- A row that disappears from your feed is treated as sold offline — the work shows as "Sold."
- A sold piece never comes back on its own. To relist one, set its
statuscolumn toavailableexplicitly. - Sold a piece in the gallery this morning? Don't wait for the next sync — use the Mark as sold button on your dashboard.
- If we can't read your feed, we pause your listings (so collectors never see stale inventory) and email you exactly what to fix. Everything returns automatically once the feed is healthy.
